佛身上的異相之一，表示吉祥無(wú)比。印度傳說(shuō)以為是有德者的標(biāo)幟。在梵語(yǔ)佛經(jīng)中本非字，唯在中國(guó)皆收入字書(shū)中。卍字之形諸書(shū)亦不統(tǒng)一，也作「卐」?！洱堼愂骤b·雜部》：「卐，音萬(wàn)。是如來(lái)身有吉祥文也?！?/p>
